Images from Cape to Cairo, and beyond . . .

iAfrika Photos was established in 1996, operating independently for two years before combining resources with Cape Photo Library. In 1998, the two agencies merged staffing and premises in order to provide clients with seamless, integrated access to a wider range of material.

iAfrika Photos has developed an extensive archive of photojournalistic/documentary material from South Africa specifically, and Africa in general. Cape Photo Library houses extensive scenic, tourist and travel images from South Africa and Africa. Both libraries also store a selection of material from locations outside of Africa.

In September 2003 the two libraries became one: iAfrika Photos.
